Your Monday Mobility refresh is here! 🙌

Been sitting a lot at your computer? This unexpected muscle will benefit from this technique!

Hey there, Reader!

🌟 Happy Monday, friends! 🌟

… and welcome to our ongoing mini-series, Monday Mobility! We figured we could make the transition into the week a little sweeter by sharing ✨FREE✨ mobility techniques with you all.

Today’s technique is a myofascial release for the muscles of the posterior hip- that’s your gluteus maximus, amongst others 🍑 Tightness or weakness here can cause low back pain, sciatica issues, or just overall discomfort... and if you spend a lot of time sitting, these tissues can become rather inactive and dormant! Aside from providing some tension relief for these powerhouse muscles, this technique is also a great way to boost circulation and hydration, making it an ideal way to wake up these tissues ahead of activity, whether it’s a neighborhood walk or a squat session.

Give it a try! We love this technique because it’s easy and effective, and targets a few different muscle groups all in one shot. All you’ll need is a bit of wall space and a pair of myofascial release balls (we love the Rad Roller Recovery Rounds - click here to receive $5 off your purchase!), tennis or lacrosse balls.

You can follow along with this week's video here:

(** Please note that not every movement is suitable for all bodies. Please listen to your body and defer to your medical provider if you have any concerns, injuries, or conditions that affect your movement, or are unsure if a particular movement is safe for you! **)
